Forgings
Forgings
Forming takes place on power hammers, hydraulic smithery presses or ring flaring tools. By hammering, the initially coarse-grain structure of the input material is reformed to a fine forging. Thus the rigidity ad tightness values increase whilst preserving ductility and tractability. Due to increased tightness, forgings are then successfully applied in work processes in environments with high pressure or vacuum technologies.
Capacities in forgings:
- forgings up to 38 kg weight
- moulding force up to 4,000 t
